This blog does not collect any personal information about you except standard traffic logs automatically generated by the web server and Google Analytics and anything you leave as part of a comment.

Some calculators on this site, such as the ACA Health Insurance Calculator, send the answers you enter (for example ages, household size, tobacco use, ZIP codes and expected income) to this site’s server so it can figure your estimate. I use these answers only to show you the result. I do not save them and I do not share them. To protect the calculators from misuse, the server keeps a count of requests from each visitor for a few minutes, tied to a scrambled form of the visitor’s IP address rather than the address itself.
